This is one of the two main annual events. It is a 10-day programme aimed at introducing the University of Ibadan to the new intakes (the students). This is a programme within the week which normally falls on Saturdays. It is aimed at familiarizing the new students with the ancient city of Ibadan , touching various reknowned centres and monumental structure, all within the city. Some of our spiritual fathers, religious father and philanthropists are also visited.
This programme orientates the fresh student on the various academic challenges they might encounter during their stay in school. It also takes them through how compute their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and tips on how to excel in their academics.Health and Accomodation issues are alos delved into.
This is the official presentation of the society to the freshers, They are also acquited with the hierachichal structure of the society,the Central Executive Council (CEC) as well as the various activities of the society with the various heads of units giving their presentations.
This is a get-together between the Stale and Fresh Students. The programme showcase talents through Halls, Faculties and individual participation in events like Quran and Quiz competition, pick and talk show, and intellectual discuss among others.
This is a programme coordinated by the Directorate of Studies. It is aimed at celebrating those who have performed execellently after the session in review among the Muslim students on campus. Its inclusion as one of the programmes of the annual Orientation Week is to encourage the fresh students to always strive to be the best at all time.
