HELP A SOUL TODAY!
This is to get you acquainted with the activity of al-Ansar foundation, a charity organisation, an arm of the MSSN; University of Ibadan. The foundation functions to assist indigent brothers and sisters on campus and in the immediate surroundings, in meeting their basic financial needs. All is not well, contrary to what seems to be. There are indeed brothers and sisters within us that find it extremely difficult registering in their faculties, departments, having their 3 square meals, meeting their medical bills, etc.
WHAT DO WE DO
We give monthly allowance to those on our list with feeding problems, and try to settle the needs of the occasional or seasonal ones i.e. registration fees, medical bills and others as they come.
HOW WE GENERATE FUNDS
We give out letters to willing hands from outside the institutions. We also distribute donor membership forms within the institution to those willing to give out a stipulated amount weekly, bi-monthly or monthly to help the cause of the needy. Lastly, we have boxes (AL-ANSAR BOXES) in the various halls of residence mosque for general donations.
OUR REQUEST
Dearest brothers and sisters, we want you to sign up our donor membership form and indicate how much you are willing to sacrifice for the course of the needy every week, fortnight or month. We have a representative in your hall that will come around every month for the collection of the stipend. For those willing to assist off campus , you can send it via our account
